Ashley McBryde brought her powerhouse vocals, captivating stories, and undeniable charisma to the stage as part of Cody Johnson’s The Leather Deluxe Tour. From the very first song, Rattlesnake Preacher, she commanded the audience's attention with her blend of raw energy and heartfelt authenticity.

The crowd erupted when she launched into One Night Standards, singing every word back to her, but it was Brenda Put Your Bra On that truly stole the spotlight. Bras rained down from the audience as Ashley embraced the moment with humor, donning a giant red bra that had everyone roaring with laughter.

Next came A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega, a song she dedicated to both new listeners and long-time fans who’ve been part of her journey. Her smile lit up the stage as she sang, clearly moved by the connection she has with her audience. The joy she exudes in every performance is undeniable; you can truly see how much she absolutely loves the journey she’s on and how grateful she is for every single moment she gets to stand up there. Ashley’s set was a perfect blend of high-energy fun and emotional depth. She led the crowd in a singalong of “woah-oh-ohs,” which seamlessly transitioned into Coldest Beer in Town. Then came Light On In The Kitchen, a touching tribute to mothers everywhere. Chris stepped forward for a stunning mandolin solo, followed by a beautiful guitar lead, showcasing the tight bond between Ashley and her band. This song, which inspired her to learn ASL to connect with her audience on a deeper level, was a standout moment that highlighted her thoughtfulness and inclusivity.

She reached back to her earlier work with What If We Don’t, a favorite from Jalopies & Expensive Guitars, proving she honors every chapter of her career. Fans at the barrier went wild as she tore into The Devil I Know, a song that builds with tension and kept the audience hanging on every word. Without missing a beat, she launched into Ain’t Enough Water In The River, a heavy, rock-infused number co-written by Randall Clay that electrified the venue.

Pausing to share her thoughts, Ashley praised the loyalty of country music fans, calling out Cody Johnson’s crowd as some of the best. “It’s been nice to see cowboy hats again!” she laughed, adding, “There ain’t enough cowboy songs.” She followed with Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs, co-written with Chris Harris, a nod to the traditions of the genre.
