(Nashville, TN – Jan. 23, 2025) Legendary musician Ringo Starr has made a remarkable comeback to country music with his first country album in over five decades, Look Up. Released on January 10 through Lost Highway Records, the album has quickly gained critical acclaim and chart success, marking a new milestone in Starr’s illustrious career.

Produced and co-written by the iconic T Bone Burnett, Look Up features 11 tracks recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles. It has already secured a top 10 spot on Billboard's all-genre Top Album Sales chart at No. 7, a career-first for Starr. Additionally, the album has dominated multiple genre-specific charts, reaching No. 1 on Current Country Album Sales, Current Rock Album Sales, and Americana/Folk Album Sales.

Fans and critics alike have embraced Starr's return to his country roots, with standout praise from Goldmine Magazine, which declared the album as "easily the best album Ringo has put out in a long time," and the New York Times, which highlighted the album’s title track as a beacon of optimism, complemented by rich, twangy guitars and Starr’s signature backbeat.

T Bone Burnett, who worked closely with Starr on the project, shared his thoughts: “From before Ringo’s time with the Beatles throughout his years as a solo artist, this all-time great musician had made some beautiful country records. I wanted to help him create a record that would stand alongside his very best. It’s exciting that fans have responded so strongly to Look Up.”

Beyond the U.S., Look Up has also achieved international recognition, including a No. 1 spot on the Official UK Country Artists Chart and topping physical album charts in Denmark.

Look Up has been hailed as one of Starr’s finest works in decades, with critics applauding his ability to seamlessly blend heartfelt emotion, storytelling, and authenticity. Starr will celebrate the album’s success with a special appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on January 28.

At 84 years old, Starr proves that his timeless artistry continues to resonate with fans across genres and generations. Look Up is not just a return to country music but a testament to Starr’s enduring legacy in the music world.
